This falls under the category of more, Thailand health insurance.

So, Pacific Cross is my insurance that I use here in Thailand. Had them for two years now and my policy is coming up for renewal next month.

Even though I've never had a claim in two years since joining them, and I get the discount yearly for no claims, the policy just keeps going up every year and it boggles my mind.

And now PC wants me to submit some BS prostate test and cataract's test of which I'm totally healthy for both. I'm in super great shape, I don't drink or smoke, workout everyday.

I need to look for another insurance provider that comparable to PC

if anyone here knows how I can get a cheaper policy or is an insurance broker here are my stats without giving way too much intimate detail you can just DM me

Current: UK citizens (all of us)

Me: 57yrs old

My partner: 38yrs old

Two male children: 6yrs old, 13 years old

I don't need vision, or dental, or pregnancy. and I'm willing to pay a small deductible of 10,000 Baht.

I just want inpatient covered for everything catastrophic or the main stuff etc etc etc.

The only reason I got the darn insurance in the first place wasn't for me it was for my partner and my kids, just in case anything happened if it was just me, then I'd get a super small policy that's peanuts and be done with it.

Need some recommendations from brokers with the information I gave you, not willing to give anymore information, I would just like to get a basic quote and if I like it then we can dig into the specifics, but based on what I wrote I should be able to get a ball park quote without being bombared with phone calls or emails, lol

Thanks for your recommendations

Hi there,

I need some help for my parents of 76years old retirement visa in Thailand.

Anyone can advise me on the healthcare insurance as my country will cost so much like $15k usd per year with 5k deductible.

Any other ways to let my parents to come over to stay in the most easier and cost savvy way.

My wife and myself will be holding retirement visa.

Thank a million for any advise 🙏🏻

Hello everyone,

I’m a Dutch citizen preparing for my long-term stay in Thailand on the DTV visa. I’m considering cancelling my Dutch health insurance since I will deregister from the Netherlands, as it is no longer required. However, I have some questions regarding travel insurance.

Does anyone here have experience with a travel insurance policy, specifically covering medical expenses, for a full year? How does deregistering from the Netherlands affect travel insurance coverage?

Also, would it be possible or advisable to get a good health insurance or travel insurance directly in Thailand?

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

I have an OX multi-entry visa issued in Australia with 3.5 years to run. I’m leaving next week for a 10 day visit to Australia and understand I will need to show proof of health insurance meeting the new 1 Oct 22 requirements when I return. If I intend to leave Thailand again as soon as December, this time for 5 months, can I just buy the insurance for a short period just to cover me until I leave again in December (understanding I will need to buy it again in May next year when I return)?

Coming back to Thailand question.

I have a non O visa valid until Sept 29/ 2022.

Do I need to get covid insurance until Sept 29?

I currently have health insurance in Thailand that I renew every year in April.

Will they stamp me until April or until the last day of my visa?

Thank you
