there are examples of dual pricing in the USA, even against other USA nationals. This isn’t anything unique to thailand.

most of the TP anxiety comes the most of the US not having a QR code on the vaccine passports and therefore impossible to receive automated approval and needed to be manually approved.

I’ve only seen 1-2 posts about visa/TP denial from insurance, and even then it was usually user error. As stated my company gave me a specific thailand cover letter and I had no issues.

I think many people simply do not bother to look or know what the options and costs are, I paid $190 for 5 months of coverage that came with a Thailand specific visa cover letter so I had no issues with visa or TP

yea there’s definitely much cheaper options that work just fine for getting that visa/Thai pass
