Jokes aside that’s super shitty, I ended up taking a pretest 5 days before my travel test and laid low until my trip. From what I’ve seen the typical period for testing negative for Covid after infection is somewhere 10-90 days with the average being 3-4 weeks. See what the meeting Jan 4 brings, good luck.

Not new, part of the test and go since it started. Many people got little to no instruction about where to send them, I still have mine

Some people say to have an onward travel ticket allowed from your initial visa, let’s assume 60 days. Some people also (myself included) book for 90 days because the 30 day extension is pretty straightforward.

Your best bet is to book your flight for the dates that you want and buy a secondary ticket for onward travel, I bought a cheap ticket to KL for proof of onward.

I came in Nov, my return flight is April. I bought a one way ticket in February to KL that I likely won’t use.

There should be somewhere you can also view the email on the website, think it was maybe an icon on the far right?

some people clearly do, but by no means “vast majority”.

Vietnam is the only relevant example and even then they are much less reliant on tourism then Thailand, the last precovid year they had 40% of the international travelers Thailand did.

Sounds like you’ve been unaware or out to lunch for 90% of the last 2 years with what’s been going on here and for some reason feel the need to share your opinion 🤷‍♂️
