TLDR : Answer Summary
If your PCR test results come back positive before your scheduled travel to Thailand, you will need to obtain a negative test result before you can reapply for the Thailand Pass. It is important to note that a person can continue to test positive for COVID-19 for up to 90 days, so make sure to get tested again once you are symptom-free. Be aware that entry rules may change during the time you are waiting for your negative result.

Yes recovery can help but not for all airlines.

ok, so yeah that’s completely up in the air then 😰.

I’m thinking it’s time to change my mindset and delay my flight until the end of January.

Give up my Thai pass 😰

I do not want to bring this into Thailand.

I’m still trying to find information on how long after infection/recovery you can enter.

Some countries are 2 weeks.

I’m trying to fly back to Thailand after testing positive.

Will phone the Thai embassy, UK today and see when I need to change my flight to.

Good luck!

thank you for the advice the whole thing has been a nightmare I’m trying to get to my wife and daughter after 6 months in the uk

yes it’s such a nightmare! The UK is blanketed in Omicron luckily it’s super mild and not a cause for concern. Just extremely inconvenient.

I popped back for 3 weeks 🙈 I’m due to fly on the 4th, which is only 8 days after contracting.

I have a Thai pass which can be changed for 3 days later, although not sure 100% as my circumstances have changed.

I would definitely get a certificate (don’t know how to do this, I think you have to have a NHS pass), and do PCR tests and pray.

🤯🤯🤯

My main worry is the time after covid you can travel. Have you found this information anywhere?

Not sure why people only put the longer length of 90 days, it’s usually between 10-90 days but average around 3-4 weeks.

You can also search function as several people this week posted about coming with a certificate of recovery.

So unfortunate, by the time you test negative, the entry rules may have changed

Need a new Thai pass, but take note you can test positive again upto 90 days after, happened to me after 6 weeks

Yep once you get a neg result (can be up to 90 days ) you will then need to re apply for the Thailand Pass , good luck
