thanks for the explanation. And in my case, do I return to just the 90 days that I originally got? That is to leave again by 19 February?

I’m in the exact same situation and I wonder how your advice about re-entry permit can be implemented on a single entry 90-day retirement visa if it’s stamped USED at the airport on your first arrival?

I’ve been meaning to ask: Is there any advantage in paying an agency when the consulate’s website says it grants tourist visas to those who walk in the door?

This is very hard to read! I am so sorry for your loss. Many of us expats with Thai partners and straddling two countries face this possibility. Your grief at this time is overwhelming and it’s understandable that you are thinking of all the “what ifs” but like most others here, I believe that there was no alternative path to chart. To move forward when you are ready, concentrate on her family’s needs in Thailand and what they need to do to see her Soul Rest In Peace. I’ve attached a link for you.

International lawyer? I’m trying to understand whether you mean an Australian lawyer who can also get a Thai lawyer to do anything that needs doing in Thailand? If primarily an Australian lawyer, which city or state are the property assets located in?

with the requirement for up to date address registration, I started out 2 months at HOMA so my TM30 was done at that time. I’ve now moved in with my Thai girlfriend at a normal address, and I don’t know how to get a proper change to my TM30 to reflect that. Any thoughts appreciated!
