Hi, I posted on here a while ago regarding my Australian father passing passing away in Thailand. I need an international lawyer that won’t charge an arm and a leg. My brother is married to a Thai but resides in Australia. My father had a will here in Australia. My brother took control of everything of my fathers, withdrew all funds from his accounts, (illegally) forging his signature and simply said he gave away all his assets. I also want a title search done on land and a company name search if that’s possible.

Contact the Australian Embassy and the press the issue with them to take action. Sometimes being able to yell or at least be forceful as a 'foreigner' works. Australia has their version of the US FBI here in Thailand and these crimes are within their purview to investigate with the Thai authorities.

It's certainly possible , but you certainly don't want a Thai lawyer for that , seek an Australian lawyer . Depending on how much we are talking , your brothers transactions are fraudulent.

 yes they are and so are the transactions in Thailand. I’m travelling over there and I’ll be handing over everything to the Thai police and they can do what they want with the info. Actually for a fee they’ll probably do

What I want. I have all the time in the world and they all underestimated the lengths I’ll go for justice for my father.

The $$$ is not what I’m chasing but they should keep what they stole because they’ll need good lawyers. The truth doesn’t lie and like I said I have all the time in the world. We’ll see who can sink and swim. I haven’t been to Pattaya yet so I’m looking forward to that stay . I’ll be in Bangkok, Korat and spending some time in Phuket. Is there anywhere else you recommend I go to visit whilst I’m over there?

 if I have to I will. It’s bad enough that medical help was intentionally delayed, waiting till he was in an actual coma before taking him to the hospital. He couldn’t take himself because he was in a wheelchair. Now I have to fight to bring back his remains so I can lay him to rest in the waters off South Australia where he told me he wanted to be

 the loss was my fathers dignity and I will fight and pay for that. He had some neurological damage from several

Strokes and my brother un officially took control of his finances. I deposited money into his partners account for him 4 weeks before he passed. She’s just as bad. I asked her to buy him some Nike shoes, he was wheelchair bound in the end and couldn’t walk but so what if he wanted to just look at them, and a slab of beer. I gave her $5,000 Aus and she didn’t even get him that. She and my brother have made a deal together, that is 100% fact

Sounds like one of the areas where GPS Legal in Bangkok may be good. Lawrence Chaney and David Tice are also nice guys and charge sensibly. Well embedded and connected in Thailand and used to Thai Law, but internationally affiliated too.

Silk legal has a lawyer with Australian and Thai Citizenship. He's Australian first. . Contact them I suggest. Not cheap though.

Gotta love family . There is no cheap lawyers in Australia you get what you pay for if you go cheap you get lack of experience and resources.

All lawyers are blood suckers but if you use a firm they are reasonably up front.
