I didn’t need a visa so I didn’t need on I came on the 30 day visa exemption stamp…they look at the rest of the documents at least 3x before you get to the “laptop” station…it took me I believe 30 min to get to the “laptop” station they do have chairs for you to sit in

from what I observed they don’t scan the QR code at all…I have no idea what they are looking at, they are using a laptop so I’m guessing they are typing in your passport number and name to verify it on thaipass

I just went through with 2 Thaipass QR codes for different dates one printed one electronic and all they looked at was the printed one…but since I had 2 I really don’t know if they verified the electronic one but I was not going to be denied entry over paperwork

if it’s the “travel” or RT-PCR test you’re good to go..stay away from the 15 min antigen test to do air travel it’s not accepted by the airlines

yes it needs to be the RT-PCR test for airlines…the RT-PCR is the one they stick up your nose

a PCR test is a PCR test to them…you still need to get one once you land here

no I setup an appointment did it via drive thru service and it was emailed to me the next day

when I went to cvs the test was free it took 20 hours to get the results emailed to me
