thanks Todd . This is exactly as I thought and told her . I’m 70 , American , she is 72 and this is new to her with the Canadian embassy not accepting the income letter . I’ve been telling her for a couple years to prepare for this . She’s worried about her heirs not being able to get the 800,000 out . So this is what I told her . Move the 800,000 for a year and during that time also bring in 65,000 a month and after her second extension she can transfer back to Canada . I contacted DTAC and asked about calling foreign countries . Make sure you dial out 004 country code and number NOT 001 . For me calling U.S its 2.5 thb per minute . I can live with that as I don't make many calls . Contrary to belief 800 numbers are not free to U.S from DTAC
