TLDR : Answer Summary
At Pai Maehongson Immigration, the documents typically mentioned for a 90-day report include a copy of your passport, TM 6, visa and entry stamp, current extension, and proof of funds (such as a bank book). However, there's significant debate, with commenters arguing that only the original passport, TM 6, and TM 47 are required for the report, with no copies necessary. Some suggest that showing a bank book is only relevant if it pertains to proving the ongoing requirement for certain extensions.

And you see how that works? Just like that we're DONE with this topic.

Listen up people there are more than SEVENTY immigration offices in the country and the reason we tell people to check with their office is because almost every office does things slightly different.

Thanx one and all for the comments .. ..

Utter rubbish non of that is required for 90 day reporting... original passport, TM 6 and TM 47 no copies of anything have ever been asked for in doing 12 years of 90 days report ๐Ÿค”

thanx for managing to work in how long you've been here
@Mal****
,

BUT

if you've truly managed to be here that long you'd know that different immigration offices do things differently

AND

your experiences at your office (which obviously ISN'T the Mae Hong Son Immigration office) don't matter in the least :(

So take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard. ;)

Are you using Pai Maehongson ? They do require copies of the data page of your passport, current extension stamp, TM6 and most recent entry stamp
Lloyd ********
!! WTF, none of that is required for a 90 day report

Believe it or not
@Ll***
in Mae Hong Son for a 90 day report they do require copies of the data page of your passport, current extension stamp, TM6 and most recent entry stamp :O

BUT finally they stopped asking for us to fill out a TM 30 lol when returning from Chiang Mai . They finally caught up with the July 1st 2020 decision . I didnt mind as we only live 3 minutes to Immigration here in Pai

wow, here in sakon i just take my passport, they scan it and print out the form. :-)

@Lloyd *******
yep (y)

More and more offices are going to the "scan the bar code from the previous report" without you needing a filled out TM47 or anything.

BUT

some are really 'old school' about it :(

Three months ago did you get a new yearly extension of stay based on retirement using banked money method? That's the only time you have to show back up in 3 months and prove you still had the 800K baht in the bank

Other than that, there's no reason to have shown your bank book because you don't show a bank balance on a 90 day report.

Yes Todd i got my second extension based on being over 50 with 800,000 banked method in February . Your information has been invaluable over the past couple years since retiring , many thanks .

What extension of stay are you on? A bank book is almost never required for a 90 day report
