Can I extend my tourist visa for 60 days at Maehongson after exiting Thailand?

ORIGINAL POSTERI’m on a tourist visa multiple entry . Leaving January 1st for Hanoi , back in Thailand January 6th . Can I get a 60 stamp in Maehongson March 5th to extend 60 days for 1900 baht or will they only extend 30 days ? Thank you !

Okay, let's do a crash course on how that visa works FIRST. :O It is unlimited entries for the validity of it (6 months from the date it's issued) AND every entry gives you a 60 day stamp. :)
SO
as long as you exit/re-enter the country on or before the expiration date of the VISA (not the current entry stamp you have) which you say is April 9th, you will be stamped in for 60 more days.

You don't need to fly out and back in to get another 60 day entry stamp as long as your visa is still valid. You could bounce out and back at the Mae Sai - Tachiliek border with Myanmar.

IF the visa is valid until April 9th and you bounced out and back in at the Mae Sai - Tachiliek border on the 5th of March you'd get stamped in for 60 more days.Jay ***********
