Is the Thai Embassy in Australia Only Issuing O-A Visas for Applicants Over 50?

Asking for an Australian friend over 50 who is in Australia . She said the Thai embassy is NOT giving non O visas out , just O-A . Does anyone know if this is correct ? Many thanks

Issuing Non-O visas to people over 50 was always up to the individual consulate. Some did, some didn't some did it for a while then stopped.

All she can do is contact each thai consulate in Australia and see what they say.

At this point (seeing as retirees are NOT on the list of people who can apply for entry to thailand) she's just spinning her wheels though..
