It's weird that the lady at Bangkok immigration told me to go to the Silom branch instead of the one that's located near the coffee shop though.

does it have to be dated the day that I go to immigration because I was going to go to the branch now get the paperwork and then go to immigration after I got back from Kuala Lumpur next week.

The agent is the one who told me that I needed to season the money in the bank for 2 months before getting a Non O, people on this thread are saying I don't need to wait. So I don't know what to believe but I don't trust Visa agents in general.

Hi Stewart, great post. If I did a border hop to Kuala Lumpur and went to the Royal Thai embassy, would I be able to get a 60 day entry visa same day? I'm American.

Hey Todd, I'm on the reservation website and it it mentions visa, legalization 14 days in advance. It might be worded wrong but do I need any advanced days to do a 60-day visa or can they just do it on the spot?

like I said in the post my extension is running out so I have to do a border hop and I'd rather kill two birds with one stone and take care of the bank account while I'm doing a border hop. I also want to get a 60-day entry visa rather than the shorter VOA.
