Question about traveling while having a over year lease in Bangkok.
I'm on a retirement extension, going to get a multiple entry permit - will traveling outside the country and staying in other hotels affect my TM30? Will I have to do anything special when I get back? I don't understand how it works.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling outside Thailand while holding a retirement extension visa and a multiple entry permit, it is important to be aware of the TM30 requirement. The TM30 is a report that must be filed by the property owner to notify immigration of a foreigner's presence at their address. Upon returning to your residence in Bangkok, a new TM30 should be filed to indicate your return. This ensures compliance with local immigration rules.
