I'm in Thailand and my wife is in Utah, USA. She's coming back soon and wants to get a 60 day tourist visa. She has a US passport.

Does she just contact the local Thailand consulate there? I haven't googled it yet but I'm trying to help her out because I don't know if she would figure it out herself. I love you honey. ๐Ÿ˜‚

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand, your wife needs to go online as all Thai visa applications from the USA have transitioned to a digital format. She should visit the official Thai e-visa website at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ to complete her application.

Is that possible? I thought the 60 was only available. I don't fully understand the difference. Is it based on age?

it depends on your status inside Thailand. Are you on a Non-O or a Non-B visa? If so she can get a visa based on being married to you.

We just applied online It doesn't matter what your age is. If she has family there in Thailand they can invite the person for a 90-day visit

All Thai visas in the US have moved online. If she contacts the embassy they will just tell her to apply online.

I donโ€™t know why youโ€™re laughing. Not all countries require that, especially since visa processing can take varying times. When I got my visas for China, Vietnam and Cambodia, I did not provide a ticket.
