You’re point has nothing to do with someone “just realising” they over stayed.

How is it even possible to “only just realise “?

Surely it takes more time to find a group on Facebook , get accepted , write a question, wait for it to be posted and get an answer than just to find out this answer online.

I was one of those people who hated it when people answered with just use google but in some situations it really is that simple.

I shall explain once even though many people have done it already.

Many countries don’t get the 60 day free so still need to apply for the 60 day visa. Also by having the actual visa some people believe it will guarantee them entry so prefer to spend the money.

Your mistake was thinking the 60 day visa was for 90 days because it is VALID for 90 days. I understand English is not your first language so just accept your mistake and move on.

It’s the fact that you said that they had been given bad advice and that it can definitely be done.

Why not just say I’ve had friends that did it in the past so I’m not sure the information you have been given is correct.
