Everyone can just guess or surmise at the moment, we should actually wait to someone with the DTV actually tries to do it and is successful, until then it is pure speculation on what might/ could happen.

Depends on your local immigration office most are between 45 and 30 days before, there is no doing it after the expiration date for your visa.

well the so called know it alls were right about the June 1st start, if you have lived in Thailand for any perof time you learn these things start only when they are officially implemented, you don’t try and guess.
