I was told at immigration today that even if I apply right now, the 60 days extension starts counting from my original expiry day (12th Nov), I was a bit skeptical at first coz my previous extensions always started from the day of application. But both volunteer and IO told me the same so it must be so. They means I can't go for another extension from 26th Nov.

I was there both 16th and 23rd July. Both times were long queue, people jam packed in the room on 2nd floor. Both times unlucky maybe? What time were you there tho?

That's what I thought, but I am currently on my 2nd two years temp license. I have no idea why and I didn't think of asking about it until I finished my renewal last time....
