"does not matter as long as you get an Admitted to Stay" - brings me to another question: those Non B, Ed stamps I have, how likely will that get me intro trouble at the boarder if I were coming in by SETV/ METV? (I know there's no definite answer, just assessing the choices I have in hand to make a decision)

In other words, no advantage at the boarder despite the mandatory tea money slipped in the passport?

Not yet, I just phoned them today asked for the documents needed. Haven't yet decided if I want to do it in HK or just a SETV in Peneng...

I had a Non-B, currently on Ed visa but going to end soon. No tourist visa in passport.

Sorry one more: how much does it cost officially for the yearly extension do you know? Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply. Is it correct to understand that for "a 90 day Non-B visa inside the country and then a yearly extension" option, after having the yearly extension, no need to go out of Thailand every 90 days? Where the "go outside the country to get the year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa" option is the visa type that I have to go out of Thailand every 90 days? Many thanks.
