Hello helpful folks, if I were to set up a company and give myself a work permit, can I apply for a one year visa without leaving every 90 days? I am confused because some need to leave every 90 days, some can stay without going out but need to do the 90 days report. And how much does it cost for such one year visa? I am in Phuket. cheers.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of obtaining a one-year visa linked to a work permit without leaving Thailand every 90 days. There's confusion regarding the requirements and costs of the one-year visa, especially concerning the necessity of periodic exits and 90-day reports. A commenter advises that the specific visa process may depend on whether the company setup allows for in-country application for a Non-B visa.

No one on this group can give you that answer

The people who set the company up for you will tell you IF they can give you the documentation to get a 90 day Non-B visa inside the country and then a yearly extension OR if you have to go outside the country to get the year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa.

Mark, and when you asked for your change and receipt what did they say to you?

Funny but in the many hundreds of times (yep you read that right) I've accompanied people to the immigration office I have never NOT gotten a receipt OR not gotten the change back.

Sorry but I'm sticking with my 'that's on you' premise.

Mark Stanley that's on you for not asking them for your receipt and your change..

ALL extensions of stays are 1900baht no matter the amount of time they're granted for

Correct, yearly extensions require 90 day reporting at the immigration office. where as a year-long, multi-entry Non-b visa from a thai consulate requires you bounce out and back in every 90 days

Thanks for your reply. Is it correct to understand that for "a 90 day Non-B visa inside the country and then a yearly extension" option, after having the yearly extension, no need to go out of Thailand every 90 days? Where the "go outside the country to get the year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa" option is the visa type that I have to go out of Thailand every 90 days? Many thanks.
