The bank letter is valid for 7 days. I was worried that it had to be done the same day. Bangkok bank needed 7 days notice before producing a letter.

I had a similar experience at Chiang Mai last week. One of my 65,000 + transfers did not show as from a foreign source but I was ok as I had kept 800,000 on deposit. This year I will update my pass book every month and check that the source is shown as foreign. I don’t need to keep 800,000 on deposit but it is my health insurance.

I have just done mine 10 days early in Chiang Mai. Extremely easy. No TM30 needed, just form and passport.

Do you receive a confirming email immediately after applying for the Digital Arrival Card, and is it required to show on arrival in Thailand?

Be careful when applying for a TDAC. I went through the whole form on what looked like an authentic site and was then asked for payment which I did not make and is not necessary. I did not pay.
