hello, about the renewal of a retirement extension. The letter from the bank can be made by any branch or only by the one where the account is located?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among users suggests that you can obtain a bank letter for your retirement visa renewal from any branch of the bank, not just the one where your account was opened. Several users reported successfully getting the necessary documentation from different branches without issues, although there may be some variance in policy at different banks or branches. It's advisable to check with the specific branch beforehand to ensure they will provide the required paperwork.

I was recently told at Bangkok Bank Central Festival that it has to be the branch where I opened the account.

It would have to be any branch now as so many have closed down.

You can get the standard bank letter, and even the detail transaction report issued at any branch.

There is no obligation that you need to get it at the branch the account was opened at.

Although definitely check with the branch you're going to use, I've seen some branches reluctant to issue the paperwork (even though they certainly can)
