I think I understand y'r question. If you have an onward flight, the airline and/or immigration must have a reason to refuse you. Should you NOT have an onward flight, the airlne is responsible to fly you out/back. If you have an onward flight, then the airliner is NOT responsible for y'r flight out/back. So then YOU have to pay that flight.

Brandon is right. But they want to attract more people to visit Thailand, so IF a visa kind is canceled I think it will take some time. And I don't know if it has anything to do with it, because I'm not an 'economics guy', it seems to work if I see the strength of the Thai Baht.

I don't know if a friend of mine used online check in with EVA, but he had to sign a paper at the check in counter that EVA was not resposible for a returnflight if he got refused entry in Bangkok. This was 3 weeks ago from Amsterdam to Bangkok. Calling them is always a good idea.

That's the case with a lot of insurances; many times you hope you do not need them for a long long time indeed šŸ’ŖšŸ¤ž

I am with WRLife for 2,5 year now. Happy I did not need them so far. In the beginning many positive stories, even from acquainted people but lately alas more negative stories with the 'pre-existing' story. Last month I got an update where they exclude a lot in the first FIVE years of paying. I THINK I would go to AIA, Cigna or April, but don't want to switch after 2,5 of paying premium. The only story of Paciffic Cross I heard is, that IF they pay, the premium goes up a lot.

Well, normaly you not need many times send (back?) money from Thailand to y'r home country. If it's only 'an incident', I would use y'r bank app or go to y'r Thai bank. Yes, it costs a bit more (not THAT much), but it's safe and fast. Good luck !

Conc. Passport; Yes, I would renew it. Before my immigration, I renewed my passport and drivers license both, although still valid for a couple of years. So then no worries for many years arriving here.

Mm, strange. I remember, also long time ago before the "Wise era šŸ˜‰", I made a mistake with swift transfer to my girlfriend's SCB account, and she got exactly the money without bank fee. I even asked her to check a couple of weeks later, because sometimes fees will be deducted some time later. After that I always used BEN because it was cheaper on balance. Well anyway, you don't have to use swift anymore šŸ˜‰
