Luckily the news from South Africa seems to suggest that it's more transmissible but not causing anymore severe cases/deaths so same but different? Hopefully no need to panic?
I arrived this year on an OA and assumed I'd need a new visa/extension every year. So I'm able to extend my stay on the same visa indefinitely by flying out and returning and thereby getting a new stamp of 1 year? Assuming I can meet finance/health care requirements?
Do you mean she has 'indefinate right to remain' visa in the UK? From what I remember you apply to the country's embassy that you want to visit in the UK and apply for your schengen visa there. If you then travel on to other countries in the schengen area the same visa applies. So you could get your visa from Germany and then travel on to Spain and Greece.
