yes they just wanted to check because you didn't have multi entry thinking you wanted to return and work. They were trying to be helpful didn't want your visa cancelled. Your visa is tied to your work permit. Same happened to me l just said l finished work so it's not required. Nothing sinister in the immigration inquiry. You will be fine coming back.

appointments finished 20 December for anyone wondering. Can remember a post saying Laos will be online applications but would take 14 days to set up. Maybe confirm with embassy as Tod has explained. You wouldn't want to make the trip for nothing. But it's a cool place to hang out while you wait for approval

why you even thinking like that? Why was the visa created not to keep people out or make it difficult that's for sure. You are only guessing so don't even bother commenting if you don't know. When l got my DTV there were like 200 others doing the same. This is exactly what the government wants people in Thailand to spend money this will improve economy recovery. Yes they may restrict in the future if they want but if you have the visa for 5 years enjoy it.

nothing required when entering Thailand you have the visa so you just show it and you are stamped for 180 days. There are no questions at all. Just border bounce every 180 days for 5 years.

Salary is irrelevant check what the criteria required in the embassy that you apply also the option that you will apply. Then you can compile the documents to submit online. Check in the search bar in this forum
