Location may be a contributing factor but also what are the circumstances of the family. International schools are very expensive also and dependent on the age and learning ability of the child Yiu may be wasting your money. How long will the family be in Thailand. Consider the cultural experience by attending govt school the child would learn more than educational subjects. What l am saying is there is not a one size fits all many factors to consider. If it was a Thai student in another country that child would gain so much from attending a govt school = language,culture,friendships,education ,completly life changing and so it works the other way also

Of course they can and they would be welcomed. Do you own research where you live on what is available. Don't ask here so many misinformed and haters. Parent the way you like your children but l would even send my kids to public school it depends on where you are living and age of children.
