Should've been Nigeria. Doesn't make sense to put Lithuania because it's not a Lithuanian passport, and you're not Lithuanian.

Where's your income coming from? The Thai company? Even you don't own it, but it's the source of your income, then that's against the DTV rules.

@Andrew *******
Ha ha OK. Never seen or heard of such "reports".

Goodness! There's nothing to "change" here. Once the DTV is issued they're pretty much all the same and even if you applied under Muay Thai, nothing stops you from working remotely! Even some of us who applied under workation, like me, may change jobs, or stop working altogether. Doesn't matter! We're all good for 5 years.

It's a systematic batched process. I'm sure yours will be closed too in the coming weeks, if not days. Keep in mind there isn't a single button they can click that says "freeze foreigner's bank account if said foreigner is on a DTV or visa exemption". They're probably going account by account, and checking the documents used to open it. Definitely gonna take time, but the decision has already been made.

Not sure what you mean by "local immigration" but you need to do the TDAC before landing. Your host or landlord will do the TM30 for you. There's nothing to do at immigration really.

Two paragraphs that make absolutely NO sense. The DTV grants 180-day stamp with each every entry during the 5 year validity. It's as simple as that.

Nothing stops you from going to Thailand now with your current passport. As for the DTV, wait for the new passport and use that to apply for it. 2 months: come on.

You would need to be in the US to apply to a consulate there. If you wanna remain in Ethiopia then the Nairobi embassy is the way to go.
