Why are so many people replying "No"? Haha! Guys, technically it's possible. Many people have already done, exited Thailand, and came back in with the DTV without issue. Should you do it? Probably not. Do I condone it? No, but fact of the matter is it is possible!

Blows my mind why there's even a so-called "heated debate" over this. Anybody who contemplates extending this visa within Thailand is a fool. The simplest no-brainer solution is to just leave and reenter, getting a fresh-no-questions-asked 180 day stamp! Period.
