Hello everyone, just got my DTV visa in Jakarta, however I’d like to travel to another country, maybe Korea, is it possible to come from another country than the one you got DTV or you have to be coming from the same country to get it ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is possible to enter Thailand from a different country after obtaining your DTV visa in Jakarta. There are no specific requirements mandating that you must enter Thailand from the same country where the DTV was issued. Travelers have successfully entered from various countries without issues, but it's recommended to print out your DTV visa for showing to immigration officials upon arrival.

Thank You for your helpful report šŸ‘

Congratulations šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight āœˆļø to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

You are under no obligation to enter from anywhere anytime.

In the worst case, the immigration officer will ask you a question about this, then you simply explain it to him and that's it, there shouldn't be any problems

Wasn't an issue for me. DTV was issue in home country in Africa, but I first came into BKK with DTV from Tokyo.

Any country is fine. No specific requirement. Be sure to print off your DTV to hand to the IO upon your arrival into Thailand :)
