Todd, in Jomtien do you have to show up 3 months after the post seasoning or just have them check at the following renewal in 12 months? I don't queue up and go inside the immigration office when I do my 90 days. Want to avoid that whenever possible.

Already on an extension and renewing it. The confusion was I had a new account/bank book with 800K in it for the seasoning but it did not show where the money came. They wanted to see where the 800K was originated from which was from another account that received the money via wire transfer and then transferred into the new account upon opening. The 3 month 800 k baht post seasoning did not come up but I was covered in case it did. Having 2 bank accounts caused the confusion.

And the 800 K baht seasoning is 2 months, right ?

You need the benefits documented being deposited in your Thai bank in addition to the verification letter.

Hi Todd, yes I created a new account and moved 805,000 baht into it and have kept the other account open. I use the same bank for both accounts. Everything was seasoned and past the 3 months requirement after the extension when I created the new account. The window for the new seasoning period will not start until December

months before and after. What should the bank letter state for the 1st bank account that was used previously for the retirement funds? Just verify the balance at the time of the transfer. My total funds have never dropped below 700,000 so I am well above the 400K threshold.
