The only time my 90 day report has been requested has been at the time of renewing my 90 day report. Last time I reported I did not have my passport, only a copy. No problem.

stapling is defacing your passport and could mean trouble. Always use a paperclip.

Much the same as my experience with Krungsri. Dont forget to adjust the minimum transaction and withdrawl amount to suit you. Mine was set at

baht and I couldn't figure out why I could not make a purchase for

baht. I set mine to 1000 baht now to reduce the chance of fraud and adjust as necessary using the app which works well.

I agree with most of what people say but it also helps if you go in with a wad of cash to deposit. Keep trying. Branches outside of shopping malls are more likely to help.

I managed to obtain a new bank book from a different branch of Krungsri. They are also dealing with a major problem I have currently.

The fact is that a lot of immigration officers are unaware of the rule themselves and give incorrect advice and information. I was denied the non o visa because I did not have the required funds in a Thai account which I now understand is completely wrong.

I was told 3 months after. Top up again 2 months before. I went under

0 for a few days which in July they said was OK. Then in October they said it wasn't. Now I've had to get covid visa.
