I just submitted my yearly Non-O marriage extension of stay application in Chiang Mai. My application was accepted this time, but I was informed that in the future I will have to include a new document in the file.

For people married outside of Thailand, they now want the local Thai embassy to certify the foreign marriage certificate. In my case, as I was married in England, I will need a certificate from the Thai embassy in London. I was shown a sample by the immigration officer. This is a new requirement in Chiang Mai.

Has anyone else had a similar experience in any other province?

Marriage registration help.

So my Thai girlfriend and I have completed everything and just need to go to an Amphur with our paperwork and documents to get a marriage certificate. However when we called Banglamung District Office in Pattaya they said they could not help as they do not have someone currently to review and sign off on foreign marriage registrations.

So we went to the Mueang Chon Buri District Office and they said we would need to go to Bangkok or Phuket to do it, unless we wanted to wait like 6 months because there are a lot of fraudulent documents and everything needs to be double checked/reverified and it will take awhile. They made it seem like basically no foreign marriage certificates were being issued in all of Chonburi at the moment.

Has only one else faced this sort of issue recently?

Do I need to make an appointment for this?

Looking for any advice or assistance on where and what to do. Thank you.

My husband had 3 month non O visa

Now it will expire on 28january 2022

It's his first time for extension

And had just open up Bangkok bank account 2 months ago

Currently I'm also pragnant 7 months and I need my husband to take care of me in this time.

We have foreign marriage certificate

What are your recommendation for visa extension for us and what are the requirements and documents needed
