@Keef *******
thats what I posted I think. No health insurence required for the Non O Immigrant Retirement visa which I applied for in Thailand. And of course I have a health ins, but that is the much cheaper Dutch Health insurrence I have already a very long time (which is for all Dutch the same and covers world wide). And on top of that I have a travel insurrence which also covers medical issues.

I tried to get the Non O Imm Visa in Holland and the embassy required insurance. So I came on a 60 Days TR Visa and applied here for the Non O Imm Retirement Visa. No insurance required here for this visa. Granted 4 weeks ago.

I stayed for 2 Months in Thailand at 3 different places so far and nobody seems to care about filling in a TM30

@Steve ******
but they rent and will rent more again. They do not buy. So not relevant. Every government/bank wants to know where you stay/live. So does Thailand

First thing to do is fill in a TM 30 (done by your landlord) and bring it to an Immigration office. It registers your living address. That will be asked at several places like open a bank acc/drivers license/long term visa

@Chan *****
When I applied for the Non Immigrant O Retirement visa in Holland the embassy wanted me to take a health insuance. ( I am already fully insured/covered for all medic issues) When you apply in Thailand for the Non Immigrant O Retirement visa a health insuranse is not asked for.
