No problems in the past. Credit card, international Driving License and national driving License you need for rent. Thai Companies maybe easier but not sure.

Full to full regulation and incl. all Kilometer and I make pictures from all of the car all sides and show the agent when I pickup the car.

STV Special Tourist Visa have 3 Months (90 Days) but must prepared online

If you apply for the TP after June 1st, you will receive it automatically and immediately after applying. If I were you, I would apply for the STV Special Tourist Visa. These are 90 days that can be extended once by 30 days. So you could stay in Thailand for 120 days. The following vaccines are approved

Paul James not really correct. If you fully Vaccinated then you need only the Thailand Pass and the insurance. But if you unvaccinated you need 72 Hour before teavel a PCR Test, what you have uploaded to the Thailand Pass System.

And if you have only transfer in Thailand you do still have to have insurance
