Hello there. I’m in the process of putting in an application for a guardian and student visa for myself and my son with the Thai Embassy based in Singapore. One of the requirements is a proof of heath insurance for the duration of our stay in BKK. By that I assume a one year insurance renewable every year along with the visa. I’m currently in Singapore… can I buy an insurance for Thailand outside of Thailand? I don’t need a massive package just a package that fulfills minimal requirements of USD100k. Who can I speak to with regards to this? Any recommendations? Thank you.

Hi everyone!

My partner and I will be landing in Phuket, Thailand in July.

Can anyone advise me on what specific jabs we should take and the right insurance plans to get before land; i’ve heard many different options and just a little overwhelmed.

Also do we still need to get a thai pass? or is this the same as insurance.

We’re looking to stay for a few months. so would we get the tourist visa?

i’m very new to this all! apologies, just want to make sure i do everything right with no complications!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 😅

Thank you❤️

Hi I'm planning to go to Thailand from vietnam.

I was wondering what was the difference between Thai E-Visa and Thailand pass registration.

I know it might sound dumb but I'm not good at filling paperwork

Just thought I would post this as I myself asked a lot of questions about how to aquire a Thai Pass, Hotels and Insurance and the fastest way to get one

Thai Pass = use Firefox browser, crop your QR Codes for Vaccine leaving a small white border on other wise they dont read (also it wont except PDFs all documents must be changed into JPEG. format to be accepted) (this definitely is important for a fast response)

Axa Sawadee (insurance)

Hotel check and pay for a fully inclusive package 5000 baht average (if a Hotel avertises as a SHA+ Hotel and its less this service is most definintely not included)

Hope this helps guys

Hello folks.

Just a quick question. I've got a reply via email from Thai insurance company, where they said that I need 2 kind of insurances in order to enter Thailand. I don't understand why do they say so, because the consulate's website clearly states that only 1 insurance needed. This is really confusing. Please, anyone who recently got an STV visa and could enter Thailand, would you please clarify this issue. Sorry in advance if this was asked before, I can't find information elsewhere.

I am in the UK and applying for an OA visa to hopefully enter Thailand in December. I cannot/dont want to stay for 1 year so will book a return flight to return in 5 or 6 months time. I want to know if, when shown my return flight date, Thai immigration at Suvarnabhumi will accept travel insurance with the required Covid cover for the 5/6 months or will they insist on insurance with 1 year's cover?
