I would like to get back to my house in Phuket in January without having to stay in a SHA hotel any length of time. I think all restrictions should be gone by then. With coming to Thailand fully vaccinated, arriving with a negative PCR-NAAT TEST under 72 hours old and taking an antigen test on arrival that is negative, we should have no restrictions and should be able to travel everywhere. Especially to be able to stay in our own houses.
Garrett, my question is will the mandatory stay at a SHA hotel be taken off by then. I realize that the entry requirements will be the same for everyone but I haven’t read anywhere about a required SHA stay. I don’t see that listed anywhere.
From everything I’ve read so far, besides what you have listed, anybody coming into Phuket from Bangkok will still have to book a SHA hotel and pay for 3 more tests. Hopefully sometime soon they will get get to the 7+7.
So are you saying that if you’ve quarantined in bkk for 14 nights, fully vaccinated and get a negative Covid test that you’re not allowed to fly to your Phuket without staying in a SHA hotel? I thought that after the quarantining in bkk you could go anywhere in thailand without restrictions. ??
