From everything I’ve read so far, besides what you have listed, anybody coming into Phuket from Bangkok will still have to book a SHA hotel and pay for 3 more tests. Hopefully sometime soon they will get get to the 7+7.
So are you saying that if you’ve quarantined in bkk for 14 nights, fully vaccinated and get a negative Covid test that you’re not allowed to fly to your Phuket without staying in a SHA hotel? I thought that after the quarantining in bkk you could go anywhere in thailand without restrictions. ??
Thanks James. Since I have to make a decision soon, I think I’m gonna play it safe and change my airline reservations, for the 11th time, to arrive after January 1st. 🤞🏻
This is not the way to control Covid. I think to show a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours before arriving, a rapid antigen test at the airport on arrival and to make sure all tourists can show a 2 shot vaccination card in their COE or at least on arrival. It’s not the tourists bringing Covid in and they’re also not the ones clustering.
