I have read every thing on this page when people say they stopped at the airport by the immigration to have many back to back visa exemption entries or visa on arrival but a Pakistani national need to have transit or tourist visa to enter thailand not eligible on other visas. if the consulate give keep giving tourisy visa and have no objection so why not. i know many Pakistani national they have travelled 2 to 3 times on TR in a year and no issue at the consulate nor at the immigration. As you have more information than me but if some one can get 3 times tourist visa in a year so can visit many times but if consulate thinks he is travelling on too many tourist visa they can be denied visa from the consulate in the first place.

Yes you can visit thailand again and again if you can get visa from embassy and money to travel.

Its not easy to get that type of visa from Pakistan but you can try get one. The requirement is you need to have 0 ruppes in your bank account for consecutive 6 month in a year time, and you need to have employment or any business in Pakistan so they can see your strong ties with your country. if you get a visa you may no have any problem at the immigration they might ask you to show them fund you have in your pocket its is 500 dollar or baht and proof of accomadation.

University ask you to come again on tourist visa but you cannot apply ed visa in Thailand if you are from any Nationality. some countries allowed to apply in neighbouring countries and some only can apply in their home countries as

I had this similar situation when i was studying in thai language school and i found out that the if i get admission in any university then i can get year long visa no need to extent it every three months and no need police clearance certificate. the language school ask me police clearance from my home country and one more time to get police clearance certificate in Bangkok. My university asked me to get no objection certificate from my language school and they prepared document for me and i went to cheang wattana immigration with university offical and the immigration extented my visa for one more year. i dont why they ask you to cancel your visa and why they ask you to come on tourist visa ? University can make document for you before your visa expires and you go get non-ed from china as

Better you get the re entry permit at chaing mai immigration office it will be peace of mind if you leaving the country ! the draw back to getting re-entry from airport is they close in the night time till morning and you never know when you short of the photocopies or pictures. For me is a not worth risk taking.

There are some nationality can extend for 3o days but for some nationality can get extention for only 7 days it includes Pakistan, India and other countries.

i think indian national can extent their visa at immigration office for 7 more days for 1900 baht. In case Gururaj Naik you like stay more then you have this option open and total you will have 22 days in Thailand.
