From recent post and reporting. One thing is very clear that rules are different in every embassy and also depend on immigration officer.

Some submitted 3 months statement in ML and got rejected and same embassy approved the visa with 3 months bank statement when there was a different IO.

Yes, but rejections for soft power is increasing everywhere. I have seen many foreigners reporting rejection from Vietnam, Malaysia and other countries. Rules were easy and simple when they started but now soft power is getting difficult unless you register with legitimate business for Muay Thai, Gym or other services.

Yes, you can show that money in your bank account.

Life will be easy if you renew it now. Get it renewed prior to applying for DTV.

You have to plus add a letter from employer granting you work from Thailand. It will help your application.

Note: employment documentation and financial documents are two different requirements for DTV. I have a business in US plus YouTube and I wrote myself a letter approving my workaction. My bank account had consistent balance over 500,000 baht every month. We live in Phuket now.

if you can show over 12L in your account for over 2-3 at least. You can apply from Delhi. Monthly income and transaction in your account will support your employment not financial status.

You can apply from India like we did through Chennai consulate/embassy. However, you need to show liquid cash in a bank account. They want to see money you can access and spend when in Thailand. DM me if you need any help.

Or another option is going to Malaysia or Bali(visa free for indian passport holder) or Vietnam. Easy option but many have faced delay in approval. Risky but doable.
