no, you can extend once only in 5 years. You'll have to bounce every 180 days after that, and I'm sure there is a 90 day reporting requirement just like every other visa.

Anyone who says they know actually doesn't. Even Embassy officials are unsure of how to manage it. It's a wait and see kind of situation. Is it 180 days total with the option of a 180 day extension over 5 years? Do you get 180 days every time you come in? Does it tick off days? There is so much gray right now I think people should let others be guinea pigs for a while and see what happens.

that could mean you can come and go during your one stay. That would mean purchasing a DTV every year and pay 10,000 baht twice every year. Again, we don't know. Assuming that is what a multi entry visa means is just dangerous without more information.

Still need more information on this. No one is sure if you can come every year for 180 days or if it is a one time use within a 5 year period. If the latter, some folks will be screwed because they think it's the former.
