I was using hypothetical examples.

I have absolutely no problems with rounding up illegal overstay,working without permits etc and kicking them out. Some should be permanently barred.

BUT for those of us here legally just trying to meet the requirements stop making it so hard. Phuket I don't need TM 30, Chiang Mai I do. Proof of income document from consulate is not sufficient 1 place OK another. And even in the same office there is variation.

I would love to sit down and talk to this guy. I lived in a US border state with Mexico. I have seen it all.

it's illegal in the US to take over a certain amount of money out of the country. Thailand and every one else seem fine with however much you want to bring in.

20k Thai baht equivalent in your currency of choice. And fudge it to 25k. Hubby had put $2200 thb as income. He was using a different currency exchange rate than immigration. He had to start the whole process over.

I think OP is now saying you need these items to do a border bounce EVEN WITH a visa.
