Not the case it’s NOT about what the Thai person has , it’s about what the sponsor has available, bank records , home , solvency ..

You have 2 options , get her to go to your embassy for interview, and YOU will need to supply documents such as your bank details, home , Finances etc to show you are solvent and can take care of her financially during her stay , and her to convince the authorities that she has no intention of working , the other option which is much easier is to get her to go see an agent , it will cost you and again you will need to show the agent various documents.. but much more simplistic.

That’s Bangkok Banks accident insurance they always try to make you take out , covers you for 100,000 per accident , but NO you don’t need to take it out .. there just trying it on , personally I do have it .. but no you don’t have to have it

first part correct , but be able to write What in English ? .. you don’t have to write anything while getting a Thai license.

I’d have to let my current O-A extension run out and start again .. I’ve still got 9 months on my current one , I’ll weigh it up then , cheers 👍🏻

that’s an extension… I think , I’m talking about the original visa’s ..

As I say I was 7 years ago maybe it’s changed anyway , but handy if it has because on an O-A , you have to buy health insurance, where as you don’t on a an O-Non
