When is the right time to transfer funds for an O-A visa in Thailand?

The transfer of funds for the O-A visa is not required immediately upon arrival. You need to keep the funds in your bank account for at least two months prior to applying for a visa extension. This applies only when you are looking to extend your visa for a second or third year. For the first year, once you enter Thailand with the O-A visa, you do not need to have the funds ready until two months before your extension application for subsequent years.
