well good for you but you’re still wrong. I’ve heard many accounts of Asian foreigners (tourists) paying the same as Thais, just because they look like they could be a Thai. Meanwhile I’ve been here for over 5 years and have to pay the Farang price. That’s racism, not nationalism. I don’t need to study to know that when I have plenty of experience. You need to study critical thinking because you don’t seem capable of it.

it wasn’t closed but I had an account in Hong Kong that was frozen due to inactivity. I had to fly there to get it unlocked. And I know for a fact that banks in the USA will close your account after a certain number of years of inactivity and the funds go to the state.

I don’t think Malaysia is closed. I’m at the airport now and a couple was checking in for KL.

This group is the only place I’ve ever heard of a TM28. In 5 years I’ve never been asked to fill one out or even seen one. I asked a friend of mine who’s been here many more years and he never heard of it either.

I traveled there with my ex Thai girlfriend a few years ago. No questions asked.

unless this is a brand new requirement the letter is good for 7 days.

Also, you should ask for a letter confirming your balance, even though that doesn’t make sense in this case. Be sure to go to the branch where you opened the account and they should be able to do it for you while you wait.
