This group is the only place I’ve ever heard of a TM28. In 5 years I’ve never been asked to fill one out or even seen one. I asked a friend of mine who’s been here many more years and he never heard of it either.

Also, you should ask for a letter confirming your balance, even though that doesn’t make sense in this case. Be sure to go to the branch where you opened the account and they should be able to do it for you while you wait.

They probably won’t be aware of it but what you need to ask for is a printout of the last 12 months of activity and ask them to highlight the foreign transfers.
