Has anyone taken their Thai wife to South Korea? Did you experience any problems or have any advice? Thank you!

Iโ€™m leaving on the 25th of this month. I currently have bank statements; house paper copy; shop tax documents; pictures of our House, truck, shop and motorcycles. Hoping that is enough.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling to South Korea with a Thai wife appears to generally go smoothly if traveling together. It is essential to have basic travel documentation, including passports, proof of relationship (like a marriage certificate), and a return ticket. Comments indicate that while traveling, officials may be cautious of solo Thai females, so clear identification of relationship status is advised. Previous experiences show that some travelers faced no inquiries, while others faced scrutiny, underscoring the importance of preparedness.

I traveled there with my ex Thai girlfriend a few years ago. No questions asked.

We went and found they are very suspicious of Thai girls and stop any traveling alone.my Thai wife went to the passport counter first they asked if she traveled alone .she pointed to me and said my husband so we were good to go . this was 8 months ago ..

My ex-Thai wife traveled there with a Korean friend.

She was denied and had to catch the next plane out.

Korean friend was sponsoring her, was not enough.

We weren't asked to show anything but her passport and she was only asked if traveling together with me and for how many days we'd be visiting.

You should be ok if going together. It's the singles going there they worry about. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
