Hello. I just come back from Immigration Hua Hin.The three months ago I was living in Chiang Mai. When I arrived there, the houseowner in Chiang Mai made TM 30 and I went to Immigration with TM 28. Now back in Hua Hin I went to Immigration, prepared TM 30 and TM 28 again. I read many times, that EVERYBODY has to report TM 28 at Immigration in within 24 hours and as a houseowner TM 30. I have a non Imm Visa 50+. Today I was told by Staff number 1 first and from her boss later that a) a houseowner (I have yellow book) does NEVER has to make TM 30 if he comes back to the address in the yellow book and b) owners of a yearly visa do NEVER have to make TM 28, it is enough to make 90 days,
So as a matter of fact, in my passport my Chiang Mai address is noticed and this is no problem for Immigration Hua Hin. I like when it is getting easier BUT can I believe that?
We are living in Hua Hin and will come to Chiang Mai for three months soon. We will rent an Airbnb Appartment and I have a 50+ Non Imm Visa on a yearly base.
What do I have to bring at Immigration, TM 28, Passport and Copy and what else? Thanks in advance
Hi there. Anyone have recent experience of filing a TM 28 change of address in Phuket? What documents are they asking for (other than the form of course) Thanks
For Hau Hin. Went out to the Immagration Office today and was informed upon my return from a four day trip, out if province, they require a TM 28 from me and a TM 30 from my Hose Master which in my case is my wife. Sounds like they will enforce so we will of course comply,
I went today to Khon Kean Immigration Office. Moved to a small village in their area so up to do my TM 28 change address and TM30 with the misses because I stay in her house. A long search, nice signs on the road Immigration Office 1.5 KM. After 3 KM U turn and yes again the same sign but no Immigration Office to find. Ask the postman, he explain You enter the compound of the Royal Thai Police Training Center Region 4 and in one of the buildings is Immigration. Nice if you know. Found it, outside is a Immigration staff with copy machine, explain her what we like, she gives the correct form, big tables to fill in, she checks and send you inside the office, directly our turn and all went smooth. Within 15 minutes done and dusted, very friendly staff. She told me I can do 90 day reports online, but the system is not so good, so maybe better if I just visit them. Yeah 120 KM on the motorbike one way, I go for the internet option.
