well good for you but you’re still wrong. I’ve heard many accounts of Asian foreigners (tourists) paying the same as Thais, just because they look like they could be a Thai. it wasn’t closed but I had an account in Hong Kong that was frozen due to inactivity. I had to fly there to get it unlocked. And I know for a fact that banks in the USA will close your account after a certain number of years of inactivity and the funds go to the state.
