Sometimes it really feels like they prefer zero-Dollar-tour(ist)s from India and China and want to scare off well-off travel-happy Westerners. I haven't found a compelling reason for that behavior.

If I believed in conspiracies, I'd suspect the uniformed forces still trying to undermine Thaksin from getting Th's economy back on track. But I don't believe in conspiracies.
