On a side note, notified the officer that we plan on leaving some time in May, she said it's ok to fly out before 13.05 (date of under consideration stamp) if we want to, without closing it. Maybe also important to someone.
Cared or not, they still requested the full 'embassy' document package (with 2 copies of everything, map with coordinates, embassy letter itself, google translate of consul's email text), and the process was the same - instead of simple over-the-counter, had to wait for senior immigration officer who manually processed it.
I was talking about the passports that are eligible for a normal (non-covid) 30-day extensions of their visa-less stamp. Not sure why you want to know this, but Philippines are indeed eligible for it.
Although it has no relation whatsoever to thai pass, getting into the country etc. It's just the question of 1) would you get a covid extension straight away or will you need to get 30 days 'normal' first and 2) will you be able to extend for 'normal' 30 days after covid stamps are gone.
As of today's news, there's no reason for you to hurry anywhere as the covid extension program has been prolonged until 25.01, so you can take your time and then decide where and when you want to get your covid extension.
They should add 60 days to the 30 that you already got - supposedly, at least that's what I've seen in that report - people got stamped straight to 25.02.2022 lol.
