went to Western Union to send $600.00 to Philippines.. but could not for some reason I am Blocked from sending money! unbelievable. But sent it using MoneyGram and it was less expensive too. So anyway my gf has enough cash to show immigration when she arrives. Probably come up with another reason to stop being landed!!!

No worries she has a bank account with 100,000 baht in it so that is more than enough ! but if they don't want to give you a visa they will come up with some excuse! I think that they do not like Filipinas.

My gf is going to apply for a tourist visa in Phil. Last year they dug up a new rule ALL Filipnas have to show in a Bank account a minimum of 50,000 pesos! I rang the embassy and questioned it : They confirmed that was the case. I was on their web page (Cebu) and noticed the article which I posted earlier. They change the rules as and when they can!

yes at a push if you get to the embassy and are near the front of the queue. and arrange transport right through to Udon
