Has anyone here (with year extension of stay) had their baby born in Thailand, then gone away for a vacation with their child?
The question then is what documentation did you have to show Thai Immigration on leaving?
My child has a passport but of course no visa. the 2 immigration offices I spoke to have no idea.
other that birth certificate and of course passport

If you're planning on leaving Thailand with the baby, and not with the mother of the baby, the mother should write a note letting immigration know that she approves of you and the baby going on a vacation together.
